Known for his kindness and empathy, Tobias has always demonstrated a profound understanding of people's emotions and needs. Tobias’s academic journey began at Sir Winston Churchill Secondary, where he graduated in 1996. During his high school years, he excelled in soccer, earning a scholarship from Safe Canada, which allowed him to attend Kwantlen Polytechnic University. There, he earned a Diploma in Business Management. His pursuit of education continued at the University of Oregon, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Global Health and Development. Alongside his academic pursuits, Tobias remained dedicated to soccer, obtaining coaching certifications to further his involvement in the sport. He achieved a UEFA Level C certificate in coaching and later earned a UEFA Level B Diploma in Coaching, demonstrating his commitment to developing his knowledge of the game. After completing his education, Tobias worked in his family business for 12 years before transitioning to a 15-year career at Canada Post, where he served as a letter carrier. Despite his success in his professional career, he maintained a strong connection to soccer. What began as a hobby—collecting game-worn soccer jerseys—eventually evolved into a business venture, leading to the establishment of Deceptican Holdings Ltd. Tobias furthered his involvement in soccer by earning a certification in Management and Scouting from Sports Management Worldwide. Through this program, he began building a clientele of soccer players who shared his values of kindness, empathy, and the dedication needed to succeed at a professional level. His soccer journey began at the age of six in Richmond, BC. During high school, Tobias was an integral part of his soccer team, contributing to their victory as the City of Vancouver Champions. He was invited to the Vancouver 86ers soccer camp, showcasing his skill and potential. In 2004, he trained with the Vancouver Whitecaps Academy, solidifying his passion for the game. After playing for several years with the Richmond Rangers, he was named Most Valuable Player for the 2002-2003 season. His success in soccer was primarily attributed to his hard work and perseverance, rather than just raw talent. He concluded his playing career by representing Israel in futsal, achieving FIFA Champion status in 2008.
