Ntlame Mosimanegape Piet Nation was born In Delareyville small town in the North-West Province of South Africa. He went to Strydom (Thaba-Nchu) college of education after finishing matric to train as a teacher, where he successfully completed and been awarded a primary school teaching diploma. Career Information EDUCATION Attended and completed a matriculation certificate at Phatshima High School in Atamelang. Went for a teaching diploma in primary teaching at Strydom (Thaba-Nchu) college of education and obtain it in 1993. Went to the then Pretoria Technikon (TUT) to obtain a B. Tech Degree in Education Management. Thereafter went to the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) and obtain an Advance Certificate in Education with specialization IN Mathematics, Science and Technology. Also obtain higher certificate in Sports Management and Administration from Boston College. Qualified Sports Administrator with a practice number and obtained Certificate of Accomplishment from Sport Management World Wide (SMWW) in Cricket Business Management. Mentored and taught by Ken Jacob and Gladstone Small under leadership of Dr Lyn Lashbrook. Sports Background SPORTS BACKGROUND Played Softball while at middle and High School, also played chess as a hobby. He developed a training programme of young girls to play cricket. Accredited Level 1 coach and Level C in umpiring all fully accredited by cricket South Africa. ACHIEVEMENT/MERITS & AWARDS He has been awarded several awards by the North-West Cricket Union. Been a team Manager for both North-West Cricket. He was also awarded the best coach for cricket South Africa in Mini cricket and presented with a Proteas Cap and a trophy. He also received a lot of Presidential awards almost every year for participating in Girls and Women Cricket Development programme. Awarded a Bronze at the provincial awards for the Department of education and Sports development annual Sports Confederation Awards. Professional Background PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND Level 1 accredited coach by Cricket South Africa; Level C accredited Cricket Umpire by Cricket South Africa. Volunteer Work VOLUNTEER’S WORK POTCH Dorp Women’s Cricket Club head coach. Development mentor and coach for young girl’s cricketers in the rural and disadvantaged communities.
