Through SMWW, Mike has completed the “Basketball GM and Scouting” course taught by Mark Warkentien as well as the “Digital Video Editing – Synergy” course, leading to his position as a scout with the company. In addition to his role as an SMWW Certified Basketball Scout, Mike works as a regional scout and correspondent with NetScouts Basketball, putting together scouting reports on NCAA and international youth players and contributing articles to netscoutsbasketball.com and Eurobasket. He also serves as a part time scout and statistician with a leading sports data company, covering live NBA and NCAA games.
In 2016, Mike graduated magna cum laude from New York University with a B.S. in Sports Management and a concentration in Sports Law. While at NYU, Mike completed a variety of internships within basketball including with the Bronx Holy Flames of the ABA, the Westchester Knicks, and Avant Garde Management Group, where he assisted with the scouting, recruiting, and representing of professional and semi-professional players.
Mike prides himself on providing accurate and concise scouting reports that can help teams recruit players and win games. He specializes in player personnel reports, advanced scouting reports, and video analysis.
