Melissa is a graduate of Salem International University with a degree in Business Administration and an emphasis in management.  Melissa is currently a coach and business owner of a martial arts school in Auburn, Washington.  She has been in business for the past 12 years and a member of the American Taekwondo Association (ATA) for 20 years.  Melissa is a 4th degree in the ATA and goal setting to rank test for 5th degree in late 2020.  She has achieved Level 4 training in Krav Maga under the instruction of NWSDE (Northwest Self-Defense Education) out of Albany, Oregon.  Throughout her years in the ATA, she has competed in State, District, and World Championships and has won several titles.  Her current goals within her school are to help students compete at a high level in the District and World Championships and continue to develop leaders within her school.

 

Melissa always had a passion for football at an early age.  She enjoyed watching football with her father both at college and professional level.  For several years Melissa had season tickets to the  Seattle Seahawks and never missed an opportunity to go to a game. Melissa is excited to start a new journey and reach an opportunity in the professional sports world.

Develop training programs and communicate with instructors to establish schedules and class plans for student advancement. Assistant RTTL (Assistant Regional Tournament Team Leader) – oversee and prepare Regional ATA (American Taekwondo Association) sanctioned tournaments

Partnered with the Auburn School District to assist coaching P.E. Classes and introduce life skills taught through the martial arts.
