Jason Rybak is an emerging Women’s Hockey Regional Scout & Advisor and a graduate of the Sports Management Worldwide Hockey GM & Scouting Course (2025). With 46 years of involvement in the game and 26 years in professional policing leadership, Jason brings a strong foundation of hockey knowledge, structured evaluation skills, and trusted leadership into the scouting and advisory space. A former Junior B player and long-time coach within competitive female hockey programs, Jason has built meaningful relationships across the women’s development pathway. He is transitioning his experience in athlete development, culture building, and leadership into formal scouting, with a focus on supporting female athletes and their families as they navigate junior, NCAA, U Sports, and professional opportunities. In his 26th year of policing, Jason serves in senior leadership and is a provincially designated instructor. His executive leadership training and professional background reinforce integrity, discretion, communication, and thoughtful evaluation — qualities essential in player assessment and agency collaboration. Jason’s scouting philosophy emphasizes character, resilience, hockey IQ, and long-term developmental projection. He is committed to building trusted relationships and providing honest, thorough regional insight within the evolving women’s hockey landscape. |
