Duncan Haines Mills was part of a football team that felt like a brotherhood that would go on to win the Kansas 5A state championship, defeating three undefeated teams in a row. During his time at Mill Valley, he was dubbed “Mr. Mill Valley” and won an award for ACA (A Class Athlete) sportsmanship award winner for the Playoffs. He would end up graduating from high school in 2020 during COVID-19 and also graduate College in 2024, on time, despite the world pandemic changing the culture. Duncan then joined an unofficial fan club titled the Cats In Blazers, where he would end up being titled the “Northwest Super Fan” and be on the front and back cover of the Yearbook his final year. Duncan has leadership when he works in groups and also when he works alone, he pays attention to detail, especially when it comes to football, on how a team plays and what a team needs to succeed. He works hard and cares about the team and their players. That’s who Duncan Haines Mills is. |
